Clinical VR Study Publication

In partnership with Royal Trinity Hospice, we embarked on an ethically approved clinical study to explore the Potential of Personalised Virtual Reality in Palliative Care. Little research and money had gone into healthcare at this time, but we hoped this was an area in which we could make a significant impact. The response from patients contributing to the study was overwhelming. Each had a unique reaction to their experience, which was a privilege to witness and demonstrated the importance of the research. We hope that their invaluable feedback can now be used to help inform future VR usage and help build confidence in the use of VR for this vital sector.

We are incredibly grateful to all contributors, but in particular the patients, some of whom are sadly no longer with us, whose contribution to the evolution of VR and technology in palliative care is invaluable.
